Attending a college fair is a fun and easy way to get into the college mindset. You can shop around without the pressure of making an immediate decision. Stop by the different college booths, ask questions, and learn about each university. If a college strikes your interest, then sign up to be on their mailing list to learn more. The best part of all - college fairs are free to attend! I suggest to my students to start attending college fairs as early as 9th or 10th grade. Be prepared to make a good impression and come with plenty of questions.
