Hey high-schoolers – do you remember dressing up like doctors and nurses when you were little? Do you want to be a paramedic, or an x-ray technician? Want to work with babies, the elderly, set broken bones, make people well, save lives?
It’s a long journey from putting on a lab coat and a toy stethoscope and pretending to give people shots. You may still have the dream, but not know how to make it a reality.
A perfect place to start is to register for the 2nd annual UC Davis High School Pre-Health Symposium. This year it will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at the University of California, Davis.
You can consider the symposium to be a one-stop shop of the best people and resources to answer your questions, give real, helpful advice, and steer you in the right direction for pre-health. Attendance will be limited to only 500 students, so be sure to register ASAP and be clear on the requirements.
